A comedy about broken vows, failed hopes and the joys of beekeeping.
Directed by Karen Trevis
Auditions on 26th August 2008
Premiered in December 2001 at the National Theatre, this play has won many awards.
This is a bittersweet comedy, sometimes on the dark side, about the emotional torment of a man following the death of his father and the removal of his treasured bee hive from the family home.
There’s a lot more to it than that of course, but you’ll need to discover that for yourselves.
A fine play, a talented cast, and a director who knows what she wants.
Compelling!
